CARE Pharmacies Announces its 2020 Board of Directors

Linthicum, MD — During the CARE Pharmacies Cooperative IncAnnual Shareholder Meeting, CARE announced the results of its 2020 Board of Directors election, which included the naming of (1) new Executive Committee member and the re-election of (3) current Board members whose terms were expiring.  

Mike Kim, owner of the Grubbs CARE Pharmacy group, will continue to serve as the Chairman of the Board, with Dean Gruber, Vice President of Trade Relations for Owl Specialty and altScripts Pharmacies, being selected to serve as CARE’s new Vice-Chairman.  Dean Gruber succeeds Jake Olson, CEO and Owner of Skywalk Pharmacy, whose term was expiring. Paul Vitale, Associate Professor and Chair for the Notre Dame School of Pharmacy, will continue to serve as the (Treasurer), with Kate Pellittieri, Head Pharmacist at Plumtree Pharmacy, serving as the (Secretary).   Mike Kim, Jeff Dunn (PBM Consultant), and Mark Jensen (Principle of Bowie-Jensen) were all re-elected to serve (3) year terms.

The CARE Pharmacies Board of Directors is tasked with developing policies and priorities on behalf of the entire cooperative.
