CARE Pharmacies elects 2025 officers, welcomes new vice chairman to executive committee

CARE Pharmacies Cooperative announced the appointments of Ryan Hollingsworth, Natalie Ryan and Steven Pieri to its 2025 board of directors.  Additionally, CARE appointed Lionel Phillips to serve as vice chairman on its executive committee.

Lionel Phillips is the founder and owner of Inside Edge Consulting Group, a pharmaceutical and biotech marketing consulting firm based in Princeton, N.J. Inside Edge Consulting focuses on the health of underserved minority populations and supports initiatives such as clinical trial enrollment and community-based awareness and education programs. The company’s focus is on meeting people where they are and has deep relationships with community trust makers throughout the United States and outside of the United States.  Phillips speaks extensively on issues of health equity.  He received his MBA with a concentration in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing from St. Joseph’s University Haub School of Business.

Natalie Ryan currently serves as vice president of specialty pharmacy for value specialty pharmacy. Ryan is a board-certified psychiatric pharmacist, a certified specialty pharmacist and has worked in long term care, specialty and institutional settings.

She oversees wholesaler contracting, manufacturer contracting, inventory management, accreditation and pharmacy operations for the specialty pharmacy. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University and a Master’s degree from the University of Florida.

Ryan Hollingsworth is the chief operating officer of FountainRx Specialty Pharmacy as well as BrookWell Infusion. With a strong background in pharmacy operations, patient care coordination, and healthcare services management, Hollingsworth oversees day-to-day activities across both the specialty pharmacy and ambulatory infusion centers. In his role, he ensures the efficient delivery of high-quality care to patients, optimizes operational workflows, drives strategic growth and manages staff, resources and compliance with regulatory standards. Hollingsworth earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from Samford University and attended East Tennessee State University.

Steven Pieri currently serves as the vice president of market access for Sobi North America. In his role, Pieri is responsible for payer strategy, patient services, pricing, trade and contracting across the Hematology, Immunology and Rare Disease categories. Pieri has held leadership positions for Bristol Myers Squibb, Janssen, Amgen, Daiichi Sankyo and King Pharmaceuticals.  Pieri holds an MBA in Marketing from St. Joseph’s College in Philadelphia.
