This past week, hundreds of NCPA members came to Washington, DC to participate in the first in-person Congressional Pharmacy Fly-In since 2019. The attendees heard from high profile public officials who are looking into egregious PBM business practices: Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, and FTC Commissioner Alvaro Bedoya. They also made their voices heard on Capitol Hill to voice their support for several key pieces of pro-pharmacy and pro-patient legislation in the House and Senate. If you were unable to join us in-person, you can voice your support for these bills here. View NCPA’s news release here.
CARE Board Member and owner of Professional Pharmacy, Christine Lee-Wilson attended the NCPA Fly-In Day on capitol hill along with Congressman Ben Cardin and other Maryland independent pharmacy owners.
